Another nice feature that the Schwinn Fan Bikes have is that you can get a better upper body workout by resting your feet on the foot pegs and using your arms only. The air resistance allows for a smooth pedaling and/or arm motion which creates streams of cooling air giving you a comfortable in-home workout.

Customer reviews on this product and on it's quality are excellent (Amazon customers currently has this bike rated at (4 of 5 stars from 146 users) and although there are not a large number of reviews at this time (this bike is still very new) the reviews are very consistent..

Air Resistance bikes, including the Schwinn Airdyne AD2, are a little louder than magnetic resistance bikes due to the movement of the air but the sound is more of a soothing white noise (like an electric fan) and not the kind of sound that would bother a lot of people.

This is a high quality dual action fan bike at a very affordable price and backed up by the original Schwinn Airdyne warranty. The 250 lb user capacity is a good indication of how durable this bike is.
